RECREATION AND LEISURE FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES
Special Recreation Services (SRS) was organized to provide recreation and leisure-based activities for children and adults with disabilities in South Cook County.
Sertoma Star Services is the parent company that operates the SRS program. Sertoma is a special recreation cooperative of the Broadview, Calumet Memorial, Dolton, Maywood and Riverdale Park Districts, as well as the Village of South Holland Recreational Services Department.

SRS is dedicated to challenging the limits and changing the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. SRS is organized to provide year-round premier community-based leisure education, recreation services, and activities for people with disabilities.
